2. Expand linkages with the Institute of Food Sciences and Engineering with its Food Safety Center and the Texas Water Resources Institute

3. Leverage existing relationship with Texas A&M University at Kingsville as an excellent opportunity to study the impact of wildlife on the spread of exotic disease in livestock

4. Leverage existing relationships with UTMB Galveston and the Western Regional Center of Excellence for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases as a means of facilitating expansion of ICAB activities into the public health sector
